The Royal Meteorological Society

The Royal Meteorological Society is a scientifc charity that supports professional meteorologists and climate scientists, and that promotes better understanding of weather and climate issues.

I was hired to define, evangelise and deliver a digital strategy to increase visibility, grow membership and retain existing members.

Working at executive level as part of a Digital Strategy Board and with many other stakeholders across the Society, I defined a 4 channel approach to cover: - Brand Update
- Web Platform Redesign, Rebuild and Content Migration
- Audience and Engagement Strategy
- Content and Social Media Strategy

After securing sign-off from the Society's Council in October 2017, I managed multiple projects to deliver the various elements of the strategy.

I also took responsibility for day-to-day management of the site content, production of assets for online and print. and live broadcast from society meetings and events.
